DWW-7VGA questions

hey, ordered one of these from Armen. in prep for it coming, i need to know what the hookups are so i can order the cables/connectors. what type of USB cable will i need coming off my USB hub? does it just have a female DB15 vga input? an electronic copy of the manual would be the best if it is around, i couldn't find it.

There's a standard male VGA connector of the type one would connect to a VGA card, a standard USB plug of the type one would connect to a USB hub or computer, three RCA jacks which appear to be inputs which I have never used, and bare wires for the power. It's quite normal stuff, you just need a VGA extension cable and a USB extension cable.

Weirdo, thanks buddy.

so basically, i will need a VGA extension cable with female on one side and male on the other.

for USB, is it a male to male "A" cable?

thanks again.

For the USB cable, you may want something like this: http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/CAB-USB-6-16.htm

USB spec says about 16 feet maximum between active components...

You can also use a USB hub if you want, probably costs about the same.

You need an extension type USB cable (female to male) like the one to which Change posted a link.
