Zenarc Gets/Stays Dim During Bootup

I've noticed that my Zenarc gets real dim about half way thru bootup and stays dim indefinetly. The only way I can get the standard brightness back is to hibernate and resume. The screen will also go dim when exiting visualization mode of MediaEngine. This is obviosly a software problem, I was curious if anyone else has come across this issue. I have recently updated my BIOS to I0100116.bin which is what I'm suspecting.
