Motorized In-dash vga...
So I just got in touch with a company in Taiwan that has motorized in-dash vga monitors... I am planning on getting one from them and seeing what kind of unit it is and how well it works. From my research, it is the monitor that Digitalww has been promising for a while but still has not delivered...
Anyways, it is possible to get the monitors in bulk (100-3000 units) and I was wondering what kind of prices people would be willing to pay for a unit like that. Like I said, I will order one myself and see how it works, touchscreen is apparently one of the options, so I am definitely ordering that for my own purposes. I will keep you people updated.
I would like your input people regarding the price (please be realistic, digitallww for a while quoted ~$650 on that monitor). Thanks in advance.

you know if you think about it, any LCD that is in your dash is motorized.

Come on guys, I need your damn input, not whining. Like I said, I am ordering one for myself, I am not making any promises whatsoever, just wanted to know what most people would pay for something like that. Thanks.

Yes yes yes, you would think so. Except that I don't see anyone selling motorized VGA units (hence the VGA part in the title) anyways, like I said before, I need input on price.

Wrong.
http://www.digitalww.com/DWW-7VGA.htm
The product on the above link is NOT motorized.

I wouldn't pay anything more than $500 for it, as long as it had all the features of DigitallWW's DWW-7VGA.

wow, tall order, considering that DWW-7VGA sells for.... yes, $500. If I had some people go in on a deal with me, that would be doable... otherwise that's just not realistic.

?? Was the thread hidden from him? It's been in the same place for a couple months now. So far I have to say it all looks like vaporware to me. I hope to see something REAL soon...
