lcd question...

i was wondering can i just used one of them regular in dash monitors to view or do i need one of them vga input one..cuz i like the in dash rather then the non in dash monitors....

The dash ones aren't good for computers. Blurry text.

Although its been answered many, many time before......

Standard LCD's accept a composite signal and are designed for video only. Just like plugging your PC through TV-Out into your TV will give you a soft, vaguely readable picture...the LCD will be the same.

This is fine if you are using a program with sensibly sized text, and are watching videos/playing mp3s/using visualisations. However, if you want to use GPS on your machine you will probably not be satisfied or worse, you'll read the map wrong and end up in a cactus.

That said, its about what you are willing to sacrifice and put up with...
