Landmark event Xenarc 800x480 Nvidia Chipset
I followed the instructions in the "quest" post I had to fiddle with the timings as those didn't work for me, but the porch and sync etc.. all worked.
This is on a Shuttle SN41G2
Wow I never realised how clear the screen could really look!!! It made my day!!

They just updated it on Xenarc's website. They sent me an email. I can't try it out right now, but hopefully someone else can!
Does anyone know how to force Powerstrip to allow custom resolutions?

Yeah there similar to what I used, except the pixal clock, scan rate and refresh rate, which are close to those but mine wouldn't take those settings exactly!!
Powerstrip go to advanced timings, then add resolution (make sure the tick box about hide unsupported res's isn't ticked).

Well, when I go to advanced timings, custom resolutions is grayed out... I've searched because I remember people talking about this before, but I couldn't really find anything. I'm thinking it's not possible to force it to allow them.

I devised those timings with a GeForce4 MX4000, and a gentleman from this board used them with his ATI Radeon chipset and they also worked. He used powerstrip, I didn't. Nvidia allows you to add custom resolutions without third-party software which is a big benifit. Saves you forty dollars and no jacked up resolutions when you boot because powerstrip hasn't loaded yet.

The GPU must support/allow such an operation. Many IGP's aren't equiped or capeable of custom resolutions.

You're welcome.
That's my pic of the settings redmage suggested. It seems Xenarc cares about their customers! Someone speaks up, things get done. Cool!

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to get a PCI video card and a PCI ribbon extension if I want to run 800x480.
848x480 looked great on my Lilliput but not the Xenarc...
I think I can settle for 800x600 instead of spending $70....

I'm curious to know how many people these timings are working for...? You?

Is there any way folks can test your setup with a Lilliput.
I know you spent the money to get a Xenarc and probably don't care about us lilliput owners but if you have access to one please let me know. I really don't want to go through the trouble of purchasing a card and installing it without verifying that the timing settings will work with the lilliput display (lilliput OSD reporting 800x480)

Why don't you just use 848x480? That looked great on my Lilli.
