LCD Low Temperature Performance

It was very cold this week in Michigan: 4 degrees F (-15C). I was pleasantly surprised that my Xenarc looked fine when I booted my system early in the AM. It was dark so I didn't mind that the brightness was degraded. Other than that, the contrast was nice and the response time didn't seem to be a problem. Very impressive.
Please post your cold weather experience...

After that cold snap here in Philly, my Xenarc crapped out and hasn't powered on since. I'm hoping this is only a temporary thing. Last winter, the same thing would happen, but after driving for awhile and warming up, it would power itself up.

NY here No where near 5Deg F, but for the couple of days it went below 32, starts up being dimmer then normal but operations were fine. Once warmed up all looked normal and as brite as it normally is.

i placed all power transformers and heat/power equipment just behind the screen to help warm up faster and it works great....

my computer would boot but the HD wouldn't spin up... the screen is extremely dark compared to normal, but works 100% once I reach a warmer temp... today it was 6 deg F and snowing, car parked outside (under cover) but snowing... about 10 minutes of engine warmup and heat on full blast and it was okay...
