7" TFT Power Supply
I just got a couple of 7" monitors (non-VGA) but have no power supplies, they have a jack connector where it will connect, they need 12v 1.2A
I'd like to be able to run them in the car and at home, can anyone quickly recommend a chea and easy power supply, maybe from Radio Shack which is just up the road?
If I want to power two at once is it viable to split one supply or should I get two?
Chris.

TM-702L Power Supply
The screen is a TM-702LS, needs 12v / 1.2A but the connector doesn't say what polarity it is, anyone know what size connector I need from Radio Shack? Is it a 3.5mm? 4.5mm? Any suggestions, I want to get one for the car and one for home.
Chris.

I have about 20 12 volt power supplies left over from brand new xenarcs. 12 volt @ 1.25 amps. I'll sell them for $5 a piece + shipping. These are teh AC wall wart things, not the DC cigarette lighter adaptors. They are left over from the g35 screen conversions I do http://www.digitalwheelz.com

I need to confirm the plug size and polarity but subject to sorting that I could be up for a couple. Are these things pretty standard across various screens? Sucks having two screens here and I can't even try them, even if they are just composite!

I don't know about if there standardized or not, but the outside diameter of the plug is 5 mm the inside is 2.5 mm. I have used them for powering various different 12 volt things I have run and they work fine.
For polarity, the inside is positively charged, the outside is the ground, this shoudl be the same on any screen I woudl think.

You just need to find some plugs that will fit it, maplins will have some. As for polarity, you can be fairly sure that the inner is positive and the outer negative, then just fun that line to the back of a cigarette lighter with a 12v fuse in line.
