Modding LILLIPUT 7" XGA RCA USB INPUT?

Hey,
I'm using both the XGA VGA input, however I'm also using the RCA usb input. My usb input is very shaky, i.e. any big bumps cause distortion. It is very hard to put the USB connector in and get a good image. I'm wondering if anyone did a mod in which you bypase the usb part alltogether and go directly to the normal RCA?
Any suggestions/input is greatly appreciated.

Yes, just unsolder the connector and solder on some short RCA cables. Works fine for me.

Hey,
Thanks for the input. I'm just wondering how you can tell where to solder the new wires? Sorry, I just want to make sure because i know one of those solder points is 12V so I don't want to screw up.

IIRC, looking from the component side of the board and numbering the pins 1-4 starting at the side of the board closest to the top, the pins are 12V, Video1, Video2, Audio. Check the lilliput thread for a link with the pin-outs. The safest thing to do is check with a continuity test or ohm meter and the existing wiring/connector.
