Did you find the answer?

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I am having the same problem and can not find the answer. I have found in some other places that installing the sofware before hooking up the TFT works(did not for me) or you can try installing in safe mode(again did not work for me). Anyhow, let me know if this helps, or if you have a solution that may work. Thanks

You just resurrected a thread that's over to years old.
While that's not a bad thing, you're probably not going to get an answer from the OP...

That said...
Do you have the latest egalax drivers installed, or just the ones that came on the CD with the unit?

Thanks for replying though. I see where there is a lot of aggrevation when people do not research and just post a new thread. I replied to this to avoid doing just that. I only have the ones that were included on the disk. It is made by delong and is model dlo7oih. Everything I have found regarding the drivers is in another language. Do the egalax drivers go in conjuntion w/the drivers on the cd, or instead of. I am going to search for them and will repost any questions. Thanks again!

Instead of the drivers. It's just a newer version of the same driver.

Download them here: http://www.eeti.com.tw/web20/eg/drivers.htm

Any suggestions on the sequence I should use, i.e. install and then plug in the TFT or was that more urban legend? Thanks for the link. I will let you know how it all works out.

Disconnect the screen.
Uninstall the old drivers.
Reboot.
Install new drivers.
Connect touchscreen.

In my case I think it was drivers problem. I was trying the one from CD, but than I used the one from web (www.cartft.com) and it works.

I am using a dell laptop to hook everything to. could there be an issue with the cpu "seeing" 2 mice,i.e. the touchpad and the touchscreen. The touch screen responds when I touch it, but only moves the cursor. When I remove my finger , the mouse goes to bottom right and constantly right clicks with the new drivers you showed me.. Will not let me calibrate. Any ideas?
