xenarc controller not being detected

ok screen works but ts wont work it cant even tell there is a controller. antone know how to fix this.?

when i plug the usb in nothing happens.jus sits ther as of nothing is in usb port,tried all my ports.

Check that your USB ports are actually working. Stick another device into the USB port and see if it picks that up. I had the same problem with my USB card. Took it out, rebooted, shut down and put it back in. On start up this time it detected it! Sometimes windows will not see stuff especially if you installed XP with the card in there.

Do you have the correct via motherboard drivers installed??? If they are the default XP Drivers they don't always work - I had this on mine and it was because I hadn't installed the manufacturers drivers.

USB dirvers are finicky, you gotta install the driver before you áttach the USB device. What gives? I donno.. that's the way it is.
