was the 500$ one, think its the new panasonics.

Everytime i plug it in the on board fuse blows straight away.
correct power supply and everything
it says 3Amp so might try a 5 and see if it still works
better practice my soldering cos i dont see a refund any time soon - and where else can i get one?

Yeah, i've had problems, order the lilliput version but that decided to break so returned that and he upgraded me to the panasonic one.

The screen is fine and much better but the power cable ribbon has broken, so ive had to solder in new cable for the power.

Also, now the touchscreen randomly stops working for un-known reasons. Have to cut power (ie switch car off) and then switch on again to get it back, so overall i'm not very impressed with the build quality. Would be ok if in the US but over here the return delivery and import tax is a ******!

Can see myself having a go at the soldering for the USB cabling to see if there are any dodgy connections tho of course am bit afraid to take apart as theres the possibility it won't work at all when back together, we shall see!

Overall impressions - could be better for the price! - tho he hasn't got any competition so he's the only place to go for in-dash touchscreen units with VGA at the mo.
