Help with video playback

ok heres the the porblem, Whnen my cars off the video on my screen is perfect, But when the car is running there are lines that gos across the video. Now what could be causing this problem. I was think maybe noise comin throught the video cable when the car is on.
Any help would be great

How is it powered? DC "egg" regulator, AC adapter or computer P/S?

Those stock "egg" dc adapters aren't very good. I would try testing it out by running an extension cord to your car and using the AC adapter to power the screen it to see if you still get the lines when the engine is running. If it's clear with the AC adapter then I'd look for a better DC regulator.
