install xenarc without back

HOw do I install the 700tsv without using the back half of the housing? whats the best way to secure everything inside? I know the screen is held in with pressure clips, but what about the pcb's? Pic's would be great. Thank you.

When I installed mine behind the dash, I just wrapped everything with saran wrap and secured with a rubber band. It's been there for a year with no problems, so I guess it works.

everything is held together by those 4 little clips your screw in. I dont have pics, but i actually just did mine today without the backing. If you open it up, you will notice the back comes off but the front and the actual internals still stick together.

I have a couple pics of a xenarc here:
http://filebox.vt.edu/users/cholbroo/g35/

Its held in place by those 4 pressure clips and 2 screws at the bottom to hold in the circuit board.

you don't even need to worry about it......I didn't use the back of mine and never had a problem......but then again I guess I never thought about it being a problem.....I didn't think there was anything loose back there to worry about?

So basically, if you're not using the backing, you can just let all the circuitry hang out in the open? (Unless of course you know something may cause damage to it)...

Yup. Just make sure there's nothing conductive hanging around the boards that might touch it and short it.
