1. As you have already identified it has no touchscreen so you need a touchscreen and TS controller - full kit about $120 (digitalww.com) making a cheap screen not so cheap. ($175 + P&P + $120 + P&P)
2. The brightness is only 300nit which is not too bad but that is without the toushscreen. Touchscreen transmission is about 70-90% so you will not get anything like the Lilliput, linITX and Xenarc 7" screens that have 400 nit before the TS is added and they have problems in cars. You will probably get around 250nit at best.
Other than that it has VGA so that is good.
