yeah, I still haven't had the time to research the ts yet, what's better for glare again, was it capacitive? I think the resistive is the bad but common one.... there are several others, acoustic wave etc..... gotta get back into searching for that...... any input as to what I should be looking at????

cap screen is better than resistive.

Clearer and less glare. Also as they are clearer you can use an antireflective coating.

wont work with a stylus unless its a special stylus.

the capacitive needs a condutor - like the human body - to work.

a regular plastic stylus wont work.

ah, ok, now I remember.... it's like a laptop mouse touch pad..... that's prolly what I'll shoot for..... the widescreen part is going to make it more difficult & narrow my choices significantly I think..... gotta start searching this.....

I just contacted trident & asked about a capacitive overlay.... I told them I have an associate in the uk if shipping to the usa proves to be difficult.... whata yah think scouse, if I need it shipped to you would you be able to do that? I'm pretty sure they would ship it to the us though....

I don't know how much bigger I can go with the touchscreen & be able to compensate with calibration..... the problem is this screen is 167mmX264mm active area, an odd size.... resistive I might have more options... fujitsu made a 12.1" widescreen laptop with a touchscreen.... I may be able to find sevice part & figure out an interface....

hope trident comes through with something capacative though....

Unless someone wants to stump up the cash to make a bulk order.

Dont forger to get a controller. And as for shipping, sure no worries.
