3 LCD Display Fold-out Idea

Hey guys, i just came up with a quick idea and animation that shows a way you could have 3 LCDs fold out of a "fake ac/vent/air piece". You'll see what i mean. Good way to keep burglars from getting 3 screens from you. It would take quite some engineering to get this to work though....
Check out the flash file animation:

(Right click and Save Target As and then once its saved, do an Open with... and choose IE [Internet Explorer])

It's a novel idea, but

1) the "fake ac/vent/air piece" would need to be real to have any ac/air in your car!.

2) the bottom LCD on your animation strikes the gear lever.

3) you'd need an awful lot of space behind your dash to store 3 LCDs and wiring!

I think however if the ac/vent controls were electronic (not cables) then you could hinge the control panel upwards to allow a touchsceen installation. 3 touchscreens is a lot of buttons to press!

i was thinking of having the LCD come out from behind vents or a fake oem stereo front for the ultimate in anti-theft!

Forgot to mention that...

I meant to put that the top screen would be GPS, and yes the vents would most likely be blocked. The middle screen would have the mediacar/roadrunner or whatever installed, but the GPS button would be replaced with a car lighting button, so you could control all that with your touch screen. and the bottom screen would control all the ac/vent/air in your car. I also fixed the striking of the gear shifter in the animation.
