We have posted this in the store. This is non Motorized but at least we know it has the Xenarc quality.

We are told it might even ship to us as soon as Tuesday March 14th or the March 15th but I wouldn't get your hopes up until it is in our hands which is why we put a date of March31st on this product. I hate the idea of promising stuff that never shows up.

Xenarc is doing final quality control on the units and couldn't make any promises but it sounds good.

SO im thinking of getting this, since i cant wait any longer for the motorized ones to come out...
Personally im not quite sure i have grips on why the motorized one is such a big deal... spring loaded should be fine right? specially since it can swivel left and right and motorized cannot? Is the only advantage, the appearing and dissapeairing of the screen with a touch of a button, or am i missing something else...
The retail is 599 for this one. I would have liked to get Armen's version of this, but I seemed to have missed the boat and they are no longer in stock. I think he is too busy with the motorized ones these days.

Ideally I would have liked a screen with an fm tuner and a slot load dvd, but i wish i couldve had everything...

Anyone else have any ideas/suggestions...

I just talked to the owner of Xenarc. They are shipping our first batch of units tomorrow. The batch isn't going to be as big as we thought due to damage in transit from Asia. Frodo has dibs on as many as he needs for testing. Any left overs will be sold to forum members. Quantities are unknown at this time.

I want one for my car too.

I will post any updates here. This all we know for know.

Yeah - that's the same thought I had. Unless these are to be used with the new version of Frodoplayer that is set to be released soon. I have a feeling that Dice Technology dude, frodo and mp3car are in business together.

But again, why would Frodo need these units for testing? Testing what? You could test using the 700tsv - it's the same thing without an in-dash mechanism.

Can someone post the actual physical dimensions of the 700IDT when they get their hands on it? Particularly the rear cage? I'm highly interested in this in-dash version-- less clutter.

It says it is a "standard 1-DIN", but as we know car mfrs have varying ideas about what DIN is. Is it ISO DIN? I've got about 1-7/8" height clearance in my Honda Odyssey below the factory radio, which they claim is DIN-sized, but alas not every DIN device seems to fit there.
