I've seen one similar to this in the flesh (pciture was in middle)

Well neat, considering one at some point for rear view/next turn info

I bought one from ebay with a bigger screen in the middle for rear view camera, haven't hook it up to a carputer yet, cause don't have one yet, anyway, how's the quality when using it for video or gps through carputer?, the connection is through rca (yellow plug)

On a screen that small, it should be fine for BIG stuff. If I ever do get one, it will simple show a coloured arrow against a black background, full screen - so readability won't be an issue, it'll just be big arrow in the mirror.

It would also be handy to have the camera/speed limit warnings on the rear view mirror as well as the arrows. That way we can have the screen off when navigating through dodgy areas. Like Manchester

Yeah.. Those screens are popular up there I think - that's where I saw one - I know a guy who sells them in stockport if your interested

But yeah, you could have a ton of info pop up on them, and it's ideal so long as it's easy to glance at and take the info in seeing as you look at the mirror every few seconds anyway..
