L-shaped A/V connector adaptor for Lilliput?

I want to mount my new 8" lilliput sitting right on top of something. The AV cable plug sticks down below the bottom of the monitor and gets in the way. Does anyone know if you can get an L-shaped adaptor that would let me have the cable sticking backwards rather than downwards?

Thanks.

Since the 8-inch Lilliput doesn't use a standard VGA (HD15) connector, you couldn't just use one of these: http://www.l-com.com/jump.jsp?lGen=d...ProductID=7869

Instead, it uses a Molex connector, part number 52316-2619. I don't think there's much call for right angle versions of these. You could get a connector and create a right angle adapter or custom right angle cable yourself. Samples can be ordered directly from their website - http://www.molex.com.

Thanks. That part number really helps! Just need to find a way to butcher one to produce a right angled connector now

I still haven't tracked down any suppliers for compatible parts. Can anyone help?

That will probably help a bit - but I'm very concerned about putting constant pressure on this connector given the bad things you read about lilliputs and their weak connectors (mostly the internal ribbon cable, but I've heard issues with this connector). I slightly bent the clips on mine trying to force the monitor into the hole in my dash so I could preview it and see what I though of different locations and angles. And for a while it was occasionally losing the USB connection after I caused the connector to pop off but it's been fine since I bent them back slightly. Not something I want to risk again!

That means damaging the lilliput - I'm hoping to avoid modding it at all. And if we went this route, we'd have to mod up a new connector for the a/v cable itself or mod the cable. Neither of which I want to do .

If I can just find a male and female connector for this socket type, I can make a mini-cable to let it be connected at any angle.
