I bought this touchscreen as an experiment from ebay,,
I am trying to find the wiring diagram for this, it has straight 19 black + 1 green wires connected to a harness.

sharp ca51001-0062 { written on it } on the back 94l00712w

also on the pcb x1216cp




1. would it be possible to wire it to a rgb output ?
2. I have a an extra laptop with inverter, that I can wire it to as well .

any help in this regrad would be much appreciated.

I did a lot of googling and other searching on this website before posting, but found little to nothing !

thanks josh the pilot, you really seem to know a lot, I read your other post about obdII and your interface.

I can work with ics, it's been a very long time since I toyed with any of those, I would really appreciate if you could give me pointers.

1. how would I go about connecting with wires

2. can I use anothe compatible inverter ?

3. how would I integrate the touchscreen aspect ?

1. that chip is pretty complicated, beyond me that's for sure unless I have some kind of wiring instructions !
2. i was told this was a touchscreen , I am guessing I was decieved unless they are included

I was thinking, 15 wires for the rgb cable, plus 4 for touchscreen and one for ground,, guess I was wrong.

gotcha, so while I wait for something from shrp, can you take a look at this auction and let me know if it will be possible to wire it.

hey josh thanks, for the insightful info.
one more question, what kinda screen would you recommend if I wanted something that would meet the following reauirements

1. not too expensive
2. not pre assembled like lilliput { want to put stuff together }
3. with built in touchscreen or add an overlay to an existing screen.
4. good quality according to you !

well, I will be using this in a pre obd II car { for now, I plan to buy another car sometime in the summer< which will be obd II {

I am definately interested in your product.

so I guess the only way to get a good touchscreen is to buy diff parts and piece together teh puzzle.
