Xenarc Touchscreen Problem...

I've done some

but couldn't find anything helpfull...

I have several problems with the touchscreen... Since I've burned my usb hub and replaced it with a different one I have problems...
The PC is in the trunk so I have to use extensions.. I've tried simple extensions and powered ones... The problem is that from time to time (maybe 10 min or 2 hours) the touchscreen won't work (other usb devices work), but if I replug it, it will work...

How do you connect usb devices with the pc in the trunk??

I've double-checked all the wiring but came to nothing!!

It is really annoying!!

this is just the geek in me speaking, but hook up the +12v power source (in the USB cable)to a toggle switch (involves cutting the extention wire), when it stops working, flip the switch off then back on.

just a thought.

you could try using thicker powered USB cables, that could strengthen the signal?

the usb cable has +5v... i tried powering off and back on the screen and it works then...

but after a while it may stop working again!!
