Lilliput VGA controller or lcd screen??

Hi

I recently blew my 7" lilliput and got the white screen. So not knowing what was wrong i ordered a couple of ribbion cables which also diddnt fix the problem. I then managed to get hold of a vga module for the lilliput and im still getting the white screen.
Now what i want to know is it possible to actually blow the TFT screen??

In my experience, it is very difficult to break the lilliput controller. I find that little chip on the small pcb on the bottom right of the lcd a major problem. I have no idea where one of those can be purchased. But if you find a cracked lilliput, go for that.

If you actually tilt the screen theres seem to be a slightly darker sqaure in the middle but otherwise un-noticable

They seem to break if you ever try attaching the ribbon while the controller is powered.

is there anywere you can get a replacement from

No, that board comes from the LCD manufacturer, not the screen maker. Only choice is to buy one from a damaged screen... I have three panasonic edtcb18qdf screens with nothing else attached. I doubt the little converter board from those will work on the hitachi screens though. Josh got my dead lilliput.

That little board that says, hitachi. Yeah, it sucks. Mine broke too.
