Lilli 7" XP monitor type Won't sync 800x480

OK... I've read thru the forum... I'm not able to get my lilly to sync correctly to 800x480. I should restate that. I can change to 800x480, but I get what would be described best as a letter box display. BLACK bar at the top and bottom of the screen. Near as I can tell, the Lilli isn't resyncing to the new resolution correctly. I don't have the abliity to get into the menu on the display to play... any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

T

EDIT... read in the forums some more and found a way to get into the menu on my lilli. I set the output from my video to 800x480 and the set the lilli to auto adjust. Instead of there being a black band at the top and bottom of the display, now there is a larger band at the bottom. I have played with the sync frequencies without success. I do have the ability to change the output resolution from my display adapter to 800x480 and the lilli has no trouble at all at 8x6. Just strange that it wont correctly auto adjust to the output at 800x480... thoughts...

Thanks again

Still unable to get the monitor to sync at 800x480 correctly... anyone else been able to solve this? I know there are many who's displays are just unable to to produce this resolution, but my system is not one of them. Just can get the Lilli to fully display.... thoughts? Thanks!
