Mirror image

Hello all. Fairly new here, but I just got a lilliput 8" and my vga signal is fine, albeit a bit off in color, but nothing I cannot tweak, but my svideo, video 1 and video 2 are all upside down and backwards. How can I fix this?

odd, have you checked the settings?

eDIT: monitor settings for reverse image or summit (used for doing rear view monitors etc)

Well if anyone else ever has this problem. What you do is you switch to video mode, whether it be any one of the three modes, (video 1, video 2, or s-video) and you press the volume up or down button so that it displays the volume level. THen press the arrow buttons that are on either side of the menu button. One of them flips it mirror-wise, and the other flips it upside down. THank you all for your help.

Is the mirror option for reverse cameras? If so it would be a great feature sine we would not have to rely on the cheap reverse image backup cams on Ebay and get something better suited such as the Sony 1/3" superHAD cameras and hook them up as reverse cameras.

Has anybody done this? How does it work? Does it work with all the inputs (VGA)?

Well, I bought the Lilliput 809GL-80NP/C/T and the image flip works! One thing I noticed was that to flip the image I needed to get the volume to display, then I had to use the < and > buttons on the monitor (next to Menu) to get the display to flip (it did not work with the remote, must be done on the actual monitor). It will flip either horiz or vert. I will be using the horizontal flip for my backup camera. Also the image flip is persistant across the V1, V2 and SVid, but does NOT effect the SVGA. The image flip also flips the OSD info and menu stuff.

The settings also remained after I power-cycled it.

Going to hook this up to a sony superHAD IR camera for use as a backup camera.
