Xenarc LCD in Lilliput

Is it possible to use a Xenarc LCD in Lilliput

do you mean with lilliput controller?

Xenarc used a panasonic screen, lilliput a hitachi one. i doubt they are compatible

No... Just the LCD. Pop the LCD out of the Lilli and put in the Xenarc LCD

the hitachi and panasonic screens can be controlled by the same controller then? that is interesting as a linITX controller is cheaper than a Xenarc one and i have a Xenarc screen with broken controller (wont take any vga or rca input but the OSD works)

You *can* fit a Xenarc LCD within a Lilliput casing (well, the front half at least)

However, the Xenarc LCD has a bigger frame on one side than the other, the Lilliput screen has equal-sized frame. This means to get it central you'll have to remove part of the plastic tabs on the Lilliput casing, and half of the screw holes for holding the LCD in place on one side. You'll also have to remove the tabs that hold the bottom of the screen as the Xenarc panel is also slightly taller.

It *can* be done, but it's a bit of a hack job!

josh, do you ahve the pinout data there? would i have to reverse the cable or use an alterntate sided one. (xenarc has conenctors on one side)
