I have installed a Xenarc 700IDT. When it was on the bench being tested it worked flawlessly. but no that it is in the car it will intermittintly turn off then go right back on again.
there is no ryhme or reaseon to it or no specific timing it will just go off, then immediately come right back on.

any idea?

yea sounds like a poor power connection. How is it wired?

it is wired to the origianal wiring harness from the original head unit.

just seems wierd that sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesen't.
