Lilli touchkit running processor @ 100%
Got a new laptop hard drive so just been doing a full reinstall (98SE). After doing most of it I noticed the PC was running slow, and the wattage (on my mains monitor) was higher than I got before with a 3.5" drive.
I tracked it down to the touchkit - shut that down and the processor usage drops from 100% all the time to normal (under 20%) and the wattage dropped from 85W to 65W.
Anyone else noticed this? I'm sure it wasn't happening before I reinstalled everything. I'm going to try the latest drivers, but maybe I didn't set something up right??
