I currently have a liliput monitor in my car hooked up to an xbox.

I got the idea of hooking up my useless laptop screen to my car.
I searched for about an hour and 20 minutes total on google... i've gone through seven search pages on this site.

What would it take to convert laptop's LCD to rca so i can hookit up to my xbox?

How good are you with programming? You can always make your own LCD controller... rather cheap, if quite time consuming.

If you are hell bent on doing it, the only place I know of is www.earthlcd.com

Look around there and see what controller card you need. The cheapest one I saw was $200 and it also acts as a 32bit 1MB video card.

Is there anything you could take from a laptop?? If you have a perfectly good laptop with blown up CPU or something can you use that??

Or even use a good laptop and merge a signal into it something??

I have an old laptop with 14" screen I would loooove to put in the boot.. did a bit of searching but didn't really find much.

I looked as well but I'm probably not using the right search query...
