free lcd inverter from ergpower

So I needed an inverter for my sharp lcd (lq084v1dg21), and of course I was checking it out at ergpower.com...and I saw they were offering a free sample of their new 8m series. I requested one for my lcd, and just got it today. Works wonderfully. No need to be a business or whatever when filling out the form. I know most people are playing with Xenarcs and Lilliputs these days, but in case someone does decide to go the old school way, I thought I'd give you a heads-up.

I believe I got an email that confirmed the order, then after about a week or so I got a shipping list in the mail that confirmed that it was free, and gave the fedex number...then a day later I got the inverter.

Yeah they will only give you the inverter if it is right for your screen.

We are looking at using this company for the CCFL upgrades but we need a much more complicated one than the free one. They look like a pretty good company.

possibly but they didnt have the data sheets for the Xenarcs panasonic LCD (like us) so they could not say. They wouldnt give me one. Have you blown it?#

EDIT: yeah you have havent you! hmmm. Tell them the CCFL is about 2.6mm, 260mm long. And needs about 600V to run. It may be about 5mA but i am not sure.
