Man, if I give one more design change to china I think they are going to tell us to go somewhere else

I honestly think we have the correct design right now, I just need to get the whole reflector sitiuation sorted out

Great job! Hopefully, with time, an upgrade kit will be available for Xenarc's with easy-to-follow instructions.

Also - what about creating auto-dimming circuitry? That and a CCFL upgrade would be the holy grail for us...

Right now I'm not in a position to help you with a 8" panel, but I do have a dead 7" lilliput panel if you want that.

Let me know

as it says in the FAQ at the beginning of the thread, we are not sure, but we are trying to keep it under $100

Oh you want to send me a motorized display, how kind

untill I do the heat testing, i'm not sure how well these will wok in the motorized displays, as that is a much more confined space and heat buildup might be a problem.

yeah the inverters would have to be located in the main unit I think - messy! I would htink providing addtional cooling holes in the back of the motorised screen would be ok for cooling as there will be more airflow than a molded screen.
