Help connecting touchscreen controller - which way to insert ribbon? (Pics)

I have a T-View 7" touchscreen. I had to remove it from its housing in order to fit it in my dash, and mold the screen to look good. Sounds easy, but now I cannot figure out which way I need to plug in the connector from the LCD's circuit board to the USB touchsreen board (controller?). Any how I have included 2 pics of what I'm talking about. It is just a matter of flipping the ribbon cable over, but i don't want to put power to it the wrong way, and then fry something, or does it even matter? Any thoughts? Thanks a lot.

P.S. The pics are of the cable only slightly inserted to show what it looks like.

It shouldn't matter. I've flipped mine on my controller without ill effects. It just doesn't work right one way vs. another.

On the other hand, don't hold me responsible if it fries! My advice is worth what you paid for it.
