Time to buy touchscreen

Please, please, tell why 8" Xenarc is about twice ($485 before s/h from mp3car store) as expensive as 8" Lilliput ($260 - $280 with s/h on ebay)?! I read "everything you need to know" threads twice, apparently this info is not something average joe needs to know

So, what is so great about Xenarc?

pretty much they've been getting away with quality branding. In this market its like lilliput is your hyundai and xenarc is a lexus. Lilliput has the rep for not being well made and at time unreliable. However recently Lilliput is starting to put warrenties on their products and I've even heard rumors of people sending them in to be repaired at relativly low costs.

that does drive me insane how people talk that **** up so much......
people slam down $400 for an ipod, and its gods gift to the world. Then one day the battery dies.......and you SOL.....Personally I'd rather use my $50 mp3 player which holds a gig(SD expanded) of mp3s.....and I replace the batterys after about 18 hours of use.

BTW: Doesn't the 8" lilliput have a higher resolution than the 8" Xenarc

BOSE IS CRAP GARBAGE. PAPER CONES FOR CARBON FIBER AND KEVLAR COST! KLIPSCH IS WAY BETTER AND WAY CHEAPER LOL!

iPods aren't bad, but who was the idiot at Apple that made the battery not user replaceable? Sure a techie could replace it, but geez. Apple is greedy, they no longer include a WALL CHARGER, firewire cable or the remote control anymore. Stupid, now customers at my CompUSA store I rep at don't buy the charger with the iPod and say "uh I don't need it, I'll charge via USB", then I see them next weekend buying an overpriced Apple USB wall charger....
