I'll test this coding on the new monitor I got. But on the last one, surprisingly it has auto on from factory. Unless....it was refurbished. err..

3- A little window will appear on the bottom half of the screen with “___ ____”. The header will say “factory setting”. I was so excited when I saw this! On the “footer” of this window you will see the existing code.
4- Enter the codes that you want (see first post in this thread), making sure they are registered as you enter them.
5- Once done, enter any number to clear the window.

I have a very old Lilliput with 9 pin din. It it worked for me, it will work for anyone. Just be patient. If it does not work the first time, cut the power to reset it, and try again. Also make sure you push the buttons all the way.

Hi!
I also have the 9pin-din lilliput. It's a newision NW619VT, a re-branded lilliput 619GL-70N/P/T.
I bought it on march 2004. I can't access to the factory settings.
I wrote an email to newision germany (the one who sold me the lilli) for have some infos about entering the factory menu.. Still waiting

Well, I think I'll go with the coyote mod!

bye

Question Liliput codes brightness

Guys I also have my lilly 629 (new model) working with the auto power on codes

question:

The brightness is set to max so everytime I need to down using the screen button to reduced the light intensity... is there a way to set this intensity with a code as default??

Also I noted the only butto iluminated is the power on.. and if i push the others (menu, or volume) they light but just for a few seconds.. is this normal??

Is there a way to have them all turned on always?

please advice

Hi!
I got response by newision
Quote:
The way to access factory setting are totally different between different monitors. We make this to protect our exclusive authorization technic. So sorry about this convenience.

If you really like this function as you mentioned in your letter. I suggest you buy our new NW619VT. We can make the special auto power on function for you. And I think the price for this special NW619VT will be much more competitive too. Pls consider.

Why I have to buy another lilli when I could do a RC mod?

Anointed, can you please tell me how you find the code to access to factory settings? TIA

bye!

The Lilliput model number only indicate what it look like outside. What mater is inside. Lilliput going thru many revision with the internal to make it better.
Mine doesn't work with the mod, but many other people got it works.

You can always do RC mod. Or if you like me, jam the power button (make it stuck down) and you have auto on. Easiest mod.

You try it out and let us know.
More likely, none of us has that screen to try.

2006 lilliput 7-inchers

in case anyone is wondering, for the lilliput EBY701-NP the fifth blank is different for the lilliputs model # EBY701-NP... instead the 5th number you have to choose 2 in order to have auto power on. The code is mixed for these new lilliput models so instead you need :
0: Start with same mode as the mode before power is disconnected.
1: Start with Power-off mode when power is connected.
2: Start with Auto Power-on and standby mode when power is connected.

Second that. Just did it on my 701 that arrived today. I had no problems doing it.
1. Entered 588998. OSD came up with --- - - -
2. Entered 097 0 2 0 (English, Chinese and Japanese as languages, English as default, Auto Power-On, sound in VGA, without tv input)
3. Once all numbers were entered, I pressed 5 (any button works) to close the OSD (on screen display)
4. Tested it by cutting the power, reconnecting it and voila! Turns on automatically when the power is connected...

Sweet!

You could try the following reset:

1.In VGA mode with your PC turned on (Recommended) , SLOWLY Input "588998" to come into the "factory setup" with the remote control unit.

is there another code for this particular model??

thanks!

Mine was the same way. I got a menu, but no place to enter the codes. I used my remote to type in the code needed to get into the system mode, THEN I pushed the menu button on the screen itself to get to a new more sophisticated list of options in a menu. One of the options in that menu was for the auto on. Good luck!
