I just recently got the same monitor. Like most of the previous posts said, once you have entered the 588998 on the remote, you use the hard buttons on the side of the monitor to navigate the menu. You select you language, then press menu to move on to the other options. Worked perfectly for me.

Programming the 10.4" Lilliput
Has anyone figured out how to auto power on the 10.4"? I have searched for months and nothing. The Lilliput rep tells me that I have to send mine to them to have them set it, they refuse to "release" the code. Cripe, this is very frustrating....

This worked great on my 8" Lilliput touchscreen
>588998 to get the settings input displayed
>127 0 10 1 to turn on the auto power on
>5 to save - then WAIT

This forum rocks...I was able to resolved two issues in one day by just using the famous "SEARCH". First i was getting the white screen of death. Having searched, I reseated my ribbon cable and 'voila' lilli breathes again. Second isssue was Auto ON, now resloved. just wanted to shower some praises to all who contribute to this tideous hobby of ours....

So I got the factory setting menu up, put in both codes that are posted in this thread in (1270110, and 1270101) and got nothing. the screen is recognizing the settings because when I go back into the factory screen the new code shows below the empty spots to put a different code in. I've tried restarting a million times and putting it back in, still nothing. just wondering if anyone had a similar problem that they resolved. I have a 629 about 9 months old.
edit folows
Eureka! I was putting every 7 digit code I could find into my 629 and none worked. I finally resorted to the stewie griffen method...11111111, 11111112, etc.... I finally just put in 2222222, and viola! According to other sources on this thread, my monitor should be in chineese or somthing...nope nada everything is in english and working perfectly. Somthing specific to my screen was that when you bring up the factory settings input menu thing, all that it shows is the code that it is currently set on, below the empty space for the new code. I put in all 2s, turned the monitor off w the remote, then disconnected power from the screen. I manually removed it, leaving my pc and power supply still running. the second i plugged the power back in it came on pc mode.
If you have read through this entire thread, like I did ten times, and still have not got it DONT BE DISCOURAGED!!
Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread, I would not have been able to figure this out without you guys...

Eby701-np/c/t
This threat is great, after trying all the codes in this post, I got my screen to work the new ( HR 701-NP model.) After 588998 enter 225 7 2 2 2.
Enjoy! And thanks for everyone's contributions.

I have the 629 and it is wired up to the ignition cable from my deck.
I entered 588998, got the prompt, entered 1270110, then hit 1 to save it.
Turned off the ignition (which kills the power to the monitor), turned it back on but the monitor will not auto turn on!
I went back in the menu and my code is saved. Any ideas?
Edit: I tried mgetchis's solution a couple of posts above and 01272222 worked!
So far anyone with a 629 from the mp3car store, try that and see if it will work for you

I can confirm this solution with a new 629GL-70NP from mp3car store.
The codes in the beginning doesn't match this new model and the procedure has to be the one mox described earlier in this thread.
mox procedure:
1) Completely disconnect the 12V power cord from your lilliput
2) Reconnect power and turn the lilli on by pressing the power button (on the screen)
3) Now, while in VGA-mode, enter the numbers (588998) directly, i.e. without first pressing any other keys or activating any menus or whatever.
now to set auto power on with 629GL-70NP:
My default values were 129 0 1 1 0
Changed the 5th number (thanks wasyed) to get 129 0 2 1 0 and then pressed a random number on RC to store the new setting.
Works like a charm!

Hey thanks to all you guys paving the way for us newBs. I ordered my 629 from DigitalWW and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and after I test it for functionality, I will be trying the factory settings for auto power on.
On a side note, does anyone with a 629 know if it will auto switch to the RCA or video 1 (I was going to use it for my backup camera) I remember reading that it specifically does auto-switch but as I am reading this thread and the other one (Props Coyote!!!) and it seems that there is a model with a remote wire just for the auto switch. Can this be accomplished through the factory settings mode? or only with the remote wire?
Thanks in advance!

I see, I didn't see that on my first time through the thread, I actually followed a link from... I believe that it was coyotes thread. Has there been a discussion on how to setup a way to auto switch from VGA to AV1? it's not that big of a deal to press a button, but the functionality would be nice. I am curious to see what revision my 629 is, after reading the thread a second time I have noticed that there are quite a few people who have the same model monitor but (as with most electronics) they have different boards/revisions.
