Hmmmm, where to fit my screen?
I have my CarPC nearly ready to go. The PC is going into the boot/trunk and my XENARC 7 inch touchscreen is going ........ Eh.......
I have a 2001 Nissan Primera and am looking for any advice or guidance on where to put/mount my touchscreen. If anyone has any previous experience or guidance on where best to install my screen that would be great.
Also if anyone has any images of an installation in a Primera I would appreciate it.
Thanks to everyone for for your time.

Here's one moulded into a P11 Primera dash
Your P11-144 will be different though. I haven't had a good look at a 144's dash for a while so I can't remember what they look like....

How could I forget about this site for pics...Doh!!
http://pgunner.tripod.com/
Looks like if you are willing to lose the vents and HU and relocate the hazard switch then you could mould it in. Or lose the HU and get an in dash one....

HU looks 1.5din. I say mold a whole new dash below the vents and move the A/C down. Thats what i am trying to get round to doing.

That looks pretty close to your dash if you try what scouse says.

Actually i think that is with the vents removed and I didnt say anything baout removing vents
There does seem to be a hel of a lot of wasted space int he middle of that dash. You could either fit a HU in their if you wanted one or I would try and relocate the buttons below the HVAC controls and move the dials down and keep the vents.

That was a quote, and a quote does not have to have the spelling correct, it just has to repeat exactly what was said before, warts and all.

How are my English skills going to improve if you post quotes with grammatical errors?
