old lilliput - issues

I know this issue has been talk about alot, but with my current setup can someone tell me why my screen flickers?

The power that my lilliput screen is drawn from the battery of my car, it was wired so that when i turn my key on my lilliput would turn on.. but the 2 wires from my car are connected to the cigarette adapter via electrical tape and the cigarette adapter is connected to my screen.i.

I get this flicker alot... I know there people blame it on the egg... how do I resolve this?

thanks!

Mine used to flicker when powered off the battery as well. I rewired things to run off the M1-ATX PSU instead, and the screen is completely clear.
