how do you output video from a laptop to a lilliput?

i am getting a laptop and would like to send the video to an in-dash lilliput screen. how is this done?

The laptop should have vga out some also have composite (rca) which the lilli can take.

Most of the laptops have a VGA connector in the back......... use it to connect the lilli
stay away of the composite (no good for text and such).
Also you may want to disable the lcd of the laptop thru the bios.

so its nothing complicated? just hook up a cord? so the lilliput takes a standard vga insert like most cimputer monitors?

Exactly, but well NOT exactly.
If you buy a VGA Lilliput then YES you just connect it like any other computer monitors.
If you buy a NONE VGA Lilliput, you must use composite out put and some Laptop may not have that output (composite and/or S-Video)
