Unhappy Lilliput Stop working - Fuse 1A broken HELP!

My problem is this:

After having replaced the touch pad broken with the new touch pad, slightly different from that precedent, the monitor has stopped working, it has not turned on anymore. I have gotten off the monitor, checked the cables flat, reassembled and he has started over working. After few second the monitor has produced horizontal strips grey and it is extinguished. I have reopened the monitor and it am everything ok, I have checked the principal fuse next to the power connector and this is broken.

Anyone have any ideas of what appens? If I can change this fuse do you think tha monitor work fine or I totally broken?

Help me, please!

Well we can't really tell you that without magic powers of going back in time and seeing what happened.

You have probably shorted somethng somewhere so check all the mountings points and look for anything on the board before you pwoer it up again.

OR

you shorted or reverse connected the input

OR

there was sosme sort of spike on the input - eg cranking the car can blow fuses
