I'm living in Ireland, and want to order a touchscreen for my Range Rover.

Xenarcs are marketed as Gain here - and hence come with the same stuff.
The LinITX ones are originally made by a company called C4, and have better reliability here than the Lilliputs. Now, the question is, Which 8"? I'm not fussed re automatic switch when I go into reverse, as I think that can be made with a relay from Maplin?

I have heard many good things about the LInitx, but there were still a few bugs to work out as far as feature, auto -on etc. When the new, if it hasn't been already, version of the LIntix w/ auto-on is released, it'll be about the same price as the gain. Personally, I'd go gain.

Hmmm. You may be right. I've decided not to go haywire with the sub setup, so that should free a good bit

The Auto-on can also be done using a relay

Then, I reckon it's the LinITX. Cost of relays cannot be more than the Xenarc!
