Hey, I'd like to purchace a motorized lcd moniter for my car...but it only has RCA inputs, and my video card only has a VGA out. I was wondering how I would go about taking care of this...any ideas?

1) Don't get a composite screen. You'll be unhappy with the display.
2) Read this: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/faq-emporium/51041-faq-vga-vs-composite-video-screens.html
3) Check out the FAQ Emporium forum. Read a lot and learn even more.

Well...
You can get an HD video adapter for the XBox...
And there's always progressive-scan DVD players...
And i have to tell you. I just bought an HDTV, and upgraded my cable service to receive HD channels...
Holy **** is that cool....
Watched the NASCAR race from Charlotte in HiDef and that was truly amazing. on pitstops you can actually see lugnuts flying as they are removed and dust blowing around the upper portions of the track as the cars roll by....

Knock yourself out.
But why do something half-assed if you know you're not going to be happy with the result? I don't understand that rationale.

You're better off paying for a VGA now, rather than Composite now then not being happy and having to buy a VGA after.

If your video card doesn't have Video out or S-Video (better) out, buy one of those small box use for presentation. Something called TView or similar. Price from $65 to $300.
Or better search the web or google for VGA To Video converter.
Just don't come back here couple week later and said "I should of listen to you guys."

Cheap screen: $120
Cheap screen + replacement Lilliput because the cheap screen sux: $120 + $270.
You're going to pay $120 to torture yourself.
But, if you "don't care if you won't be happy with it", then by all means buy one. And then make sure you power it with an ITPS. Only $40. And only pay for 128k of memory. It will be cheaper.
That should save you some money and still get a car PC in your car.

you really should listen to advice, its not like they are trying to get you to spend more money, they are trying to save you money, time and frustration.
Try hooking up your computer up to your TV. I am sure it is much larger than your planned screen, but I bet you will have a hard time reading the text on the screen.
