xenarc < lilliput in price (100$? damn)
xenarc = lilliput in the quest for native resolution. can't get any of them to work on 800x480
bottom line, if you can afford a xenarc, go for it. but a lilliput will do its job too, while sacrificing just a bit.
First Off what lilliput are you comparing the xenarc to?
Secondly you will have to use powerstrip to get your xenarc to display 800x480. Look on xenarcs website in the faq.

This is due the touch pannel used in the older lilliputs. This has been fixed in the new ones

The new ones can be programmed to do this without any soldering

The New Lilliputs have an even better design than the xenarcs
If you are in the market for a new screen i would say buy the new lilliput. The only option that it doesn't have (as far as i know) is the reverse camera auto detect.
