I guess it is just luck then, I took mine apart and put it back together atleast 15 times, and even had to bend it a bit to get that damn connector to go behind the AC controls, and I havent had any problems.
Possibly a batch of bad ones?

The e-mail I got back said something along the lines "So it would seem that the item we sent you is not defective. Correct?" I e-mailed them back explaining that I believe it is because it doesn't power up... I think I may be out 200 bucks if we can't resolve this... I'll hope for the best though!
that is exactly what happened to mine. I never mentioned to them the USB part. Still waiting to hear anything. I did notice that the screen got really hot when I was running it. I have seen posts about running the screens through the power supply in lieu of battery power because the power drops and spikes can ruin a computer screen...
Keep me posted on your luck with them also.

Just got my monitor via UPS delivered to my door. Won't power-up at all. This is the "Super" brand from Yuki668 on ebay. Looks nice, just doesn't work. Looks like we will see what their remedy for this will be. The auction states something about buyer paying return postage back to Hong Kong, 10 days inspection, blah, blah. I was ready to install everything this weekend. I guess thats not going to happen. Buyer beware. I will let everyone know what the outcome is.......
Quick question for someone that already bought one. Which 12v power input did you use? The one on the monitor case or the one on the plug? I tried both individually with no luck......
I feel like this right now:

The one on the monitor, I didnt realize there was on on the plug? Did you run 12v through your svideo input? That would mess some things up definately.

No, I am not sure how you could run power into the svideo input....There is another 12v input on the connector cable going into the bottom of the screen. The manual calls this one an "input" and the one on the case a "switch". I thought it was strange. As per another member of the forum, I am going to take it apart and double check all the connections inside the case tonight. I guess it could have been bumped pretty good coming from Hong Kong, China.

I wouldn't be too worried, however I guess it always is buyer beware. Although myself and two others appear to have gotten bad monitors there does seem to be as many, if not more, cases where the monitors worked out fine. My suggestion would to wait and see how our three cases work out with them. If they take them back without problems then its definitely a safe bet because even if it doesn't work you will at least know of others who have been able to return it. If we do not get this resolved then, obviously, I cannot give my personal recommendation, but like I said, there are many others on here who have had success.

The directions that came in the box refer to the plug-in on the back of the monitor as the "power switch". The cable plug-in refers to "12v power". Both will work, but currently I get nada. Still waiting to hear back from tech support.

Remember there are 4 screws and one hidden under the mounting plate. I didn't venture to open mine because it scares me. Let me know if you have any success.

Update
Still have not heard back from Yukki.......
Ok, first let me clarify how many screws there are on the back of the case. There are five. Four in the corners and one at the bottom in the middle. By removing all 5 screws the bottom separates pretty easy and the top has two clips that "pop" themselves when the bottom is separated. The touchscreen is double sided taped to the front and this is the hardest part of the whole deal. To get to the screws on the inside, you must remove the touchscreen from the front bezel. Not really a big deal though.
What I found was this:
All plugs were tight and snug
When I removed the main pcb, the micro fuse marked F1 was blown-(it looks like a miniature bulb)
Not having any idea where I could get a new one (this ain't no Radio Shack part) - I took one single strand from a stranded 18G wire that I had and jumped the fuse. (This single strand looked to be of the same diameter as the fuse wire)
I put everything back together and BOOM it works! I have had it on for about four hours now and it is still performing perfect.
Anybody know where to get micro fuses?
Special note: I do not recommend anyone jumping a fuse no matter how small. The $87.00 shipping fee back to Hong Kong made me do it!

Just discovered my monitor has the same issue, the fuse is blown. Going to try to scab something together (with a larger sized automotive fuse with similar amperage characteristics once I figure out what that is).
