anitanium, i hope you don't mind me picking apart your install/brain .... but did you mount your touchscreen without the casing? was that a dificult route at all? looking into it for my install coming up.

oh and it looks like the guy is back on ebay- the price has gone up to 199 though- but that's still great if it's just a rebranded/recased xenarc

i took apart the original casing
only used the controller and screen and mounted it with my double din cage from my hacked up stereo. it wasn't difficult, just different since i have to modify the cage to fit

so if i bought a xenarc casing from digital ww would this lcd fit in it im looking for a monitor that will fit along side my xenarc but not as expensive

yup, that's the same thing. SP-719. And it says on the auction it has RCA connectors as well as VGA so if this is a rebranded xenarc it would be comparable to the TSV model. So, in other words, yes you can hook up an xbox to it through RCA inputs.

Can one of you guys please give me some dimensions so i can look at how it would fit in my dash?

The one thing that really concerns me is the way the connector seems to stick out below the screen. I wouldnt have room for htis in my dash. Can this be made to come out behind the screen? (see arrow in the picture)

Any info appreciated. Thanks

One more thing - is this really a rebadge of the xenarc screen? Surely the quality cant be equal for such a reduced price..

I have only had experience with a 619 liliput, how do these compare quality wise?

i've never owned any other screen
but they are very very high quality screens and look like the components of the xenarcs

just ordered mine off the ole ebay- ended up being $171.50 after shipping and insurance. Can't wait to get it and start testing with my mac mini. Carputer here I come!

is it? if so can anyone vouch for this seller? ive been looking at his feed back and it seems like a lot of times the item is defective, missing parts or wrong item altogether and he doesnt communicate with the buyers when there is a problem. has anyone had problems with this seller or the items baught?

so far i've had no problems (knockon wood), the auction for mine ended around 1 am and by 8 this morning i had recieved a tracking number.

I would have sent you dimensions, but mine is put in the bezel and its a ***** to take out. The connector thing is also a worry to be because my AC goes underneath, I might have just enough clearance... I think it was Scouse or Jcdillin who said it appeared to be a xenarc lcd panel.
