One question. I am using a zeitronix wideband for datalogging on that com port. Is there a way to use both by splitting the signal or will they conflict with each other?

also, what would be a good remote to use to control both the lilli and the computer?

How many COM port does your mobo has? Some have additional port (internally). Also, you can use USB -> Serial adapter. It's kind of hit and miss. So depend on the conversion chip on the adapter. I don't know which one work and which not.

To control the Lilliput, you have to use it own remote or a learning remote that has capture it codes. Computer, you can use any remote that is 38Khz. Basically, all household appliances remote are usable.

I want to do this but my Lilli's IR receiver is in a different spot. I have the 8" Lilliput 809GL-80NP/C/T. Not sure if the pin layout is the same for the ground and dsr. Anyone know? Thanks

Can someone confirm this for me please? I'm trying to do this mod as well as extend my receiver.

I just metered the actual three joints where the legs go. They read 5V, 5V, and 2.5V. Isn't one of these legs supposed to be ground?

Thanks for any help.
