Red face Dynamix 706 or Lilliput

Which one is better quality wise? What is the model number of the new lilliputs that are improved?

Thanks

Most members here, skipped the bs and went right for the Xenarc... A little more costly but worth every penny in the end.

They use the same Hitachi LCD panel, but different touch screen and controller. I am happy with my Dynamix 706. It is actually exact the same hardware as LinITX. You can read a lot about it from this forum. Here is a comparison with Xenarc and Lilliput:

I have a LinITX clone and very happy with it. It works well and I can see the screen perfectly, I have even modified it to allow auto-on.

It's amazing that you wait only 3 hours for a reply....

my best friend just bought the "706" earlier this week... When he install we will be able to compare the 706 with the Xenarc.

Dynamix is a great seller, although im sure the extra funds is worth spending on the Xenarc and cal it a day. I already see some issue I wouldnt like with the 706 from the review(link) that Vladm provided.

If your happen then thats all that matters. Enjoy!

HI just bought AND returned the Dynamix 805. Apparently this is a rebadged Xenarc so since I spent all weekend trying to get the damn thing to work I will not be going with a Xenarc either when I get my money back.

I chose the Dyanmix for my home theater so the nice matte color, bevelled case fits in nicely with the rest of my equipment. It's just a shame that out of the box I could not get it to work properly. First of all the remote didn't work, then the screen kept on losing calibration and eventually it would stop working altogther. Occasionaly I would get an "Out of Range" error message which meant shutting down everything for a few minutes. The most annoying thing is after it was left on for about an hour the mouse cursor would shoot to the top right hand corner and return there whenever I tried to move it. So I'm retuning it tomorrow for a full refund and buying a Lilliput instead.
