touch not working at times....
so sometimes my touch screen won't work when I boot up. I can reboot and it will ALWAYS fix it's self...

don't think it's a loose connection as I have checked all connections...

is this a driver issue or something else?

anyone?

I'd try a different driver first - http://www.egalax.com.tw/support-drivers.htm I think is the website for the touchscreen drivers.

Is the touchscreen connected to a USB hub, if so is it powered or not?

my touchscreen is finiky sometimes as well, It got MUCH better after I put it on a powered usb hub up front and not just on a extension cable to the back of my car. How long is the cable you are running?

I still have driver related shut down issues with it though. Keeps throwing svchost errors. I am convinced they are related to the touchscreen.

it's connected to a powered hub....and I'm using a USB extension since I have no choice...

I'll try those drivers and see if it helps any...but I won't know for sure for a few days since I don't drive the car every day....ride bikes instead...lol
