Rewiring IR on Lilli
Ok i'm installing my lilli into my sunvisor and have no room or need for buttons, all i need is the IR sensor to work.... I was wondering if you can use the one that came with it, just snap off the pieces of the board the buttons are on around the IR sensor and solder wires to the connections of the sensor...
or should i pick up another sensor some where, and if so what kind
thanks

or just de-solder the ir reciever? you will prob end up ******* the whole board up if you try snap part off.

now, i know that...
PIN 8 = IR PIN 2
PIN 9 = IR PIN 3
PIN 10 = IR PIN 1
But i dont know which pin is labeled 1, 2, and 3 on the ir itself
anyone know which pins on the ir are wired to which pins on the ribbon connector?

I tried to extend the sensor off the board but something went wrong and when i reconnected it, it never worked. Is it possible that the heat from the soldering iron mest up the IR reciever, if so where can i buy a replacement.
Thanks
