Post Broken LCD Parts

Yup, nuked an LCD the other day. Not too big a deal, except it was a Matrix Orbital display! In case you don't know, those things cost over a hundred bucks!

I've heard a rumor that the first thing to go when overvoltaged is the LCD. From all the photos I've seen, the MO LCD and standard Serial LCD's are the same thing. So, does anyone have an LCD that has a damaged board? (no overvoltage damaged units please)
