8" lilliput questions

I've seen a lot of posts on the 7" lilli and xenarcs but hardly anything on the 8". Do these screens have the same issues? By that I mean does the 8" lilli have calibration issues, overheating, high rate of just crapping out, etc...? I want to go with the 8" screen and have looked at the lilli, xenarc, gain. For the money, I can go with 2 lillis (which I want to do). Any feedback from anyone with experience with 8" screens would be good.

I just got a 8" screen, and haven't had a problem yet. I calibrated the TS, no problems, and I also was able to use the "factory programming" mode to enable auto power on: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...t=49378&page=4

IMHO the 8" have fewer problems. They are still poorer quality, but the seem to take the cake as far as lillis go. Mine worked out of the box with no drivers or calibration problems. The only issue I've had with it is a shoddy cable, which I had replaced from the ebay seller and haven't had problems since. I think if I could do it over again, however, I would buy a monitor with a daytime viewable screen, cause it is a little difficult to read in bright daylight.

From the lilliput website it is
LCD Brightness: 380cd/m2
I think it is actually 280cd/m2 with the TS on, because on the website it says the monitor is TS optional.
That doesnt stop all the sellers from stating 380nits as the brightness, however.
