I have one, preordered it from cartft.com - got it last week (even though they say they won't ship until the first)

Not installed yet, but have the weekend reserved for installation. Right now I have a 7" lilliput in my car.

I have the K301 hooked up to the DVI port of my Geforce 4 TI (with an DVI to VGA converter). Looking nice so far. A little slow to extend/retract, but that is fine.

You can tilt it up/down in small bits, and the setting stays so when you open the screen next time, it goes to the position you last used. The touch screen works fine as well, have played a bit of solitaire with it.

The screen itself looks like the lilli, but I think it's a bit brighter - havn't made side-by-side comparision yet, so I might be mistaken on that.

Only one problem so far.. I can't get it to lock on to 800x480. I have some modelines for linux I havn't tried yet, but I can't try those until I've installed it in the car. If those won't work, I'll just have to live with 848x480. I'm using a PCI graphic card in the car which can give 800x480, which the lilli shows correctly, but it still thinks it's 848x480 :) - hope to make the same work with the K301.

Also, there's a remote with it.. I still think those are useless in a car :/ - I really like the design though. When closed, there are just two buttons: on/off and open/close. There's also some white text, but I've put black tape over that. Looks really nice, since you have to take a close look to actually see the tape.

Overall, The K301 is just a lilliput.. but motorized!

Has anybody news about the right modeline settings for the xorg.conf?
My system: Via Epia EN15000 board with K301 touchscreen display, SuSE Linux 10.1 with xorg_openchrome (Via) driver. Resolution 800x480.
It works, but it looks not really sharp.
Any help?
Thx.
